I changed out the wires and she's running good now

. Check engine light is still on though.

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, should reset the computer. Might want to wait 15 minutes if you have the time, that should put
the light out. Enjoy your Ford . Mine has 204,000. miles uses a little
oil, but runs great 4.6L 1997
