Default Rough ride

2003 f150 fx4 supercab 100,000 miles.. My truck feels really rough driving I can feel every little bump any ideas on what's up? I've drivin trucks all my life and I'm not expecting it to be a cadillac but it just doesn't feel like it should..

I need new tires bad they're all un even
And it has the factory rancho shocks

Think those two things could be the issue?

I have no idea I bought the truck like 2 weeks ago.. It's level so I'm not sure if the tears are cranked or if it has a level

100k and factory shocks? I think ya need some new ones. Tires too. If the p/o leveled it, that will add to the rougher ride, but shouldnt be that bad unless they're maxed out.

Your shocks are trashed. time to replace them. try to replace the tires as soon as you can too. I know ford dealers are having a big sale on tires right now with rebates and such

Old tires get hard when they get worn past the soft rubber.
Tire inflation affects the ride a lot.. probably more than anything else. They were only supposed to have like 33 PSI with soft p metric tires.!

If you have LT tires running 50 pdi that's going to be a lot harsh er.

Old shocks don't make it ride rough if they're the right length.... When shocks go bad the vehicle bounces all over the place when you go over bumps and takes a while to settle down... But it doesn't make it harsh.

But some shocks are harsher than others. Off road intended shocks will be harsher than softer Street shocks.

Your t bars very well might be cranked by a previous owner.
