Default Rough Misfire

i have a 97 with the 5.4 and the other day i pulled a code and the truck started shaking, when i red the code it came up with p0303 faulty cylinder D. took it to a shop and they said the number 3 cylinder need a new coil pack. so when i bought the part and replaced it. and it still does the same thing. i cleared the code and it hasnt come back up yet but it still shakes, especially the faster you go and the lower the rpm. really lost on what to do here and it starting to turn into a pain in the ***. please any info and help would be great! thanks

well if the coil didnt do the trick the next step would be a plug. and the cel will come back on just give it a couple days. i went through all this too on cylinder 3 also. ended up shooting a plug and breaking the 6 day old coil i had just put in it.

well after the truck blew the plug from cylinder 3 they had to fix the head and put a new plug amd coil in. the truck had been missing on and off for like 6 months until this happened. the guy said the plug was the reason it was missing all along. maybe not your issue but it wouldnt hurt to change the plug. by any change is there some sort of noise coming from your engine/behind your dash that is new? sorta like a rattle?
