Ey i have a 99 F-150 4.6L and the check engine comes and goes. But the main problem is that its idleing really rough, like its missing really bad. I pulled a code from the computer that says its the vehicle speed circut. And the IAC. What can i do to fix this problem. And is there a way to bypass the IAC valve? Thank you all.

 

Do you have the actual codes you pulled, ya know, the #s? what did you use to pull em? I'm just curious... there's info on the web on cleaning the IAC, I wouldn't recommend bypassing it

 

I was able to pull the code with an edge performance tuner. The code is P1045 and ive already cleaned it and replaced it, checked connections, wires,fuses. You name it
