Default Roll bar?? 1997

well, my buddy had a roll bar on his 82 f150, rolled his truck avoiding a deer, and it saved his life. i'm wondering where i could find a roll bar for a newer f150 or where i could buy one cause i cant find nothin. i know 4 people who flipped their f150 doin somethin stupid (besides the one who avoided a deer) and were badly injured. the cab holds up well i guess but i'd feel safer with a roll bar.

The reason you see less roll bars out on the road is that modern trucks are built to withstand rolls. Its part of new safety measures that ensures that a vehicle can withstand having more than its weight of force applied to the cab/roof without caving (at all or much).

a 1982 truck? not so much. Hence the need for a roll bar.
