I would be finding a cheap one or making a friend with somebody who could weld it. Pretty much any other way is a bandaid fix that will leave you in the same place or worse in a short amount of time.

thats not a fix, thats a cover. Just like a dull pencil. Pointless. Or another one of my personal favorite saying "putting lipstick on a pig"

Please stop spreading fish oil around. The Duplicolor rust fix is not for heavy rust. It wont stop rust that is deep in the panel and delaminating the steel.

Its hacks such as yourself that make the community look bad.
