If you are a "budget conscious" feller, like myself, you may find this to be useful. There is a way to list the closeout items only for Rock Auto parts. Here's how:
----> 1. Open the site, then navigate to the vehicle which you wish to find the closeout parts. Then click the "RSS" button located next to the choices you've selected:
----> 2. That RSS link will open a new tab for you. We are clicking this link to obtain the "carcode" out of the address bar. You will need to copy that code. You can do this by highlighting, then hitting CTRL+C, or just write it down.
----> 3. Now utilize the link below, but where the "carcode" says XXXXXXX you will to replace that with the code we obtained in the previous step.
Also, you can still use the 5% discount on those closeout parts.
201452540143008581 until 6/5/22
Just place the code in how did you hear about us area.

Great thread. I've been using RockAuto for years now and have always had good luck with them. Once I ordered a part waited too long before installing only to realize I ordered the wrong part. They worked with me to return it for the correct part even though I was beyond the return period and didn't charge me anything extra.

I've had all good experiences with them as well. I am very pleased with their customer service.
My only bad interaction with them is when they refused to take back the drums for my highboy. They sent the wrong ones and when asked if I installed them I said yes because how else would I know the holes werent drilled right. Even after getting someone on the phone they refused to do anything about them because they were used now. Um what?! I took them out of the unsealed plastic bag, set them on my hub and took them right back off! I would have been more understanding if I ordered the wrong part but they flat sent me the 2 of the wrong drums and left me with the bill. I now just get the part number from Rockauto and get it cheaper on amazon (usually). There are still some things I buy from rockauto if i cant find it cheaper anywhere else.
