so, this last week has been hell. my 99 xlt flareside shot a plug out of the head. i tried to make it last another week or 2 with a healer coil. dont waste your money on that. im happy to say that i AM keeping the truck, i just have to take it off the road. im going to keep my eyes open for a lightning that has been totaled and try to get it for parts. ill keep everyone updated on the long process of makeing this truck eligible to go into a Truckin Magazine, or four wheeler mag. look on my page from time to time to see updated pics, ill put them up once a month, ill also start a thread soon showing how to replace heads, polish the intake manifold, and squeeze a couple more horse out of your 5.4... may the flareside live forever
