I just bought me a cheep set of fog lights from walmart that i plan on using as reverse lights. Can someone help me figure out how to wire it? I have wired some lights before... but it wasnt the best way, I'm wanting to do the right way, so basically you can say Im new at wiring this lights.
From what i understand I just cant splice into the reverse wire and be done with it. I have to run like separate fuses and relays correct? I only want the them to turn on while in reverse and all of this is like overwhelming lol.

1)Run wire from the battery or use the black wire(on 7-pin trailer) to pin # 30 fused with a 20amp.
2)Use the white wire on the towing harness for ground pin # 85
3)Use the + reverse tail light wire(or purple wire on 7pin trailer) on pin # 86"
4)Use the pin #87 to run to both of your fog lamps. (This is the hot wire).
Note: ground the fogs to any good location or use the white wire to ground them
