Do those eBay resistors actually work? I've heard some day yes and some so no

Think about it, if you could add 25hp and 5mpg by putting in a resistor, dont you think ford would have done it?

The only way a resistor can help hp is on a diesel, if you had a 7.3 you can even make it lope from a resistor. But on a triton it does absolutely nothing.
