But ask yourself why you're replacing bearings, it's only 89k. It's not really one of those, replace whilst you're in there, kind of things.

Well if its 4wd, its ez. Only 3 bolts for wheel bearing, and couple of small bolts for shield and wheel sensor cable clamp . And the axle nut. Ridiculously ez to replace. I can do one in 20 minutes now. Unless you like to drive around in axle deep water, you probably won't have to replace them until 200k +. If you do drive around in deep water then they could fail at any time.

If do them......get 6 pt socket for the wheel bearing bolts. Don't try and use a 12-point or you will likely strip the bolt heads trying to break them. Borrow big torque wrench from auto zone. You got to turn the front wheels side to side to get the clearance between the CV and the bolt head for the socket to fit on it. I think probably even have to use a 3/8 inch drive socket to fit due to clearance. I twisted off a 3/8 extension. So anyway you support the whole front end up so you can easily turn the wheels side to side while you're working on it.
