Default Replacement shocks FX4

OK so I really need some replacement shocks on my 02 FX4, can't stand the harsh ride, just want something smoother.. What are some good options that won't break the bank... I should add I have the Rancho RS5000 on it now..

Odd that you're suggesting the ProComps, I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure Rancho and ProComp shocks are made by the same manufacturer... Thus being the same crappy stuff?

I have a few budys running the rancho 5000s and They love em. So I'm not sure what you are meaning by crapy except for the factory style ranchos

Based on the specs, the procomps and ranchos are the same shock.
Now if you wanna go up a tier
Bilstein 5100's
Rancho 9000xl adjustables
And pro comp mx-6 adjustable are all good options.

What I mean is that, at speeds over 60mph the truck will shake/bounce/rattle the dog chit out of ya going down the hwy. They are simply just to stiff, now if I put 200+lbs in the bed of the truck that typically smooths it out. The back end is where I notice this the most...

+1 on the bilstien 5100's, originally my rcd lift came with 5100's, when they wore I figured id save a few bucks and replaced em with pro comp es9000 not even 5k miles later went back to the bilstiens, huge difference especially when mild trail running, I guess if I started with the pro comps I wouldn't have noticed , but u do get what u pay for

Ya I think the Bilsteins is what I'll go with, double the price but I can't stand this rough garbage....
