Black looks better IMO.

Then you've never seen a lariat... Or a King ranch.
It matches the two tone trim color.
Mine is Arizona beige metallic...

And yep, I repainted it that when it's faded.

To remove the grill do you just take off the top access panel above the radiator?
Here's a good thread from another forum on how to do it: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...le-paint.html#

Thanks for that link!
I see why some owners just mask off the front and paint it on the Truck. .

Just make sure to slide some cardboard between the grill and the radiator... don't want to paint that lol

Honestly I don't look that close because I don't care. If I saw one and it was gray I probably assumed it was faded black.

Thought mine was faded black too.... so I did "fade to black" on it.

EDIT: So, now I'm listening to this.....

Since I pull a RV sometimes I’m not going to bolt anything onto the grill that restricts air flow.
I had to add a additional transmission cooler to the “towing package” as it is.
Picked up some black gloss X2 Rustoleum (for plastic too). I plan on power washing the grill, masking it off and just painting it on the truck. With LED’s behind the grill It will put some cardboard behind it first.
Have a great Holiday Weekend!
