Question Removing Heater Core

I have a 98 F150 XLT with a 4.6/automatic. "Search" tells me I am in for a treat. I went through six pages but have not found a good thread.
Should I look for dash removal instead.

Thanks in advance.

You certainly won't do it that fast but you can get a great idea of how it comes apart. There are numerous on Youtube for our Gen trucks. Hope this helps you some.

It's not hard to do just takes a while. Take zip lock backs and number them by what steps they came off so you can keep all of your bolts in order and you will be fine.

It really does. It takes a little more time to be organized but it was a life saver when it came time to reassemble. I took pictures as I went as well with the labeled bag and the general area it came from.

I did my 98 4.6 last week and used this one

I liked the pictures, as opposed to the drawings. It plus the you tube videos should be all you need.
