Default removing bug shield

Hey guys how do you remove the bug shield on the Hood? Is it as simple as it looks, just rip it off? Or is there bolts somewhere that I can't find?

Mine was held on by several small screws on the bottom of the hood. When you open the hood and look at the front lip you should see the screws. If you strip any of the screws just drill them out. It should cone right off after those screws are removed.

And how did you get rid of the rubber pieces in between the shield and the Hood?

Those you can just rip off and you might have to use an adhesive remover to remove the glue that held them down
