Default Remove tail light tint

I have taillights tinted but they faded out over the past year i was just wondering what the best way to remove it so i can retint them

Noooo lol just use Goof Off or paint thinner.. Goof Off works the best.. Poor it over it let it sit for a minute then wipe it off

I thought so, because a guy that I know that tints tail lights on the side uses sand paper before he sprays the night shade, but it's a lot of work, so yea goof off is probably easier !! Lol

Goof Off with a lot of elbow grease. I use paint thinner as it wont cause the clear part of the lambs to cloud up.

Paint thinner and goof off suck. They didn't work for me when I removed the spray tint. There's a product called zip strip, it'll eat the paint off your truck in a few min. Be careful with it, brush it on (brushing in the same direction) wait maybe a min, the tint will bubble then Take steel wool and water, wash it off good and use the steel wool to scrap it off. When they dry it will put a white film on the lense, but take fine steel wool and bufF If it out. I did it on my clear lenses and they look brand new. But it you leave it on too long it will eat the lense. Just be carefull, took me 10 min to strip my lenses.
