Default remove center console

so my grandpa hooked me up with a starter set of tools, (has 2 garages full em) gave me a set of small sockets, large sockets, sum deepwells, set of screwdrivers, sum of the most common sizes of wrenches, and so on (cause iv been using my dads) and i was thinkin if only i had a place to set em, because im always hallin friends around so backseat isnt an option, and i dont want em getin stolen outa the bed,, so i looked at my center console a good bit and realized i only used it to hold a few cds which i dont use anymore and a few tools for audio install (i do alota friends stuff),, soooo...
here she is in my room lol

for any of thoes wondering how to,, pull up on the cup holder, n shell pop right out n theres to bolts down there, and then open the console n remove the tray on the inside, and then pull the mat out from the bottom and theres two bolts down there (these are a size bigger for some reason, n ull need deepwells)

now you might notice somthing in the above picture lol, that there will be 4 bolts stickin about 2-3 inches out of your floor and there isnt capet around the bolts, (and the bolts are infact connected to the frame) but my box fits pefectly between all the bolts and they actually keep her frm flyin all round, so its all gued lol

and this..well i was walkin outside turnin fone camera on and couldnt resist the opertunity (:

Thats a beautiful truck and I wish mine was that color, but I think you should paint your grille surround to match the truck and maybe get a PTM top pad and do the same.. I think it'd look a lot better, just my opinion though

You can do it yourself, I did. Cost me $30 for the PTM surround and about $25 in paint and supplies.. Well worth it, I saved a few hundred in paint and labor.

Why not just get a toolbox that goes in the bed? A black one would look nice..

You'll want to follow up after the wetsanding with a product to seal it.. I use Mothers Sealer & Glaze(http://www.mothers.com/02_products/08100.html), as a polish on a microfiber rag. If you want to wait I can show you when I get my tailgate handle with a lock.. Otherwise I can try to describe it for now.

After finishing wetsanding with 2000 grit, take a small amount of Sealer & Glaze and put it on an area of the rag. Start to apply the Sealer & Glaze to the part, applying some pressure. You should notice the clearcoat starting to smooth out and shine again after having been dull from the 2000 grit. Do this until it's like a mirror, otherwise stuff will stick to it eventually. After you are done with the Sealer & Glaze, do a light coat of it just to protect the part. Then follow up with your favorite wax(I hate to sound like a broken record here but my favorite by far is the Mothers Pure Carnauba Wax, not the Cleaner Wax as the Cleaner Wax will strip the sealer off), and put 2 or 3 coats of it on. Then I'd let it bake in the sun for a while to harden entirely.
