Four hours? I am sure they were piddling around so I dont blame you for test driving something hehe.

Mine look fine other than a couple little spots where the underliner has come off and a touch of rust but I am going to do it anyway.

New and free, dont get that too often.

That's exactly why I'm doing it mine have been replaced before just not through ford so they have no record of it so why not just get some new ones haha

The new ones have a different coating on them to help prevent rust. Also it applies to all models from 97-03/04 heritage.

i had a strap on my tank for years and then baught new straps. never got aroung to fixing it and then got a recall notice for the straps . well droped it off and picked it up and good as new. oh and of course had to return the ones i bought.
