Default Rear block question

I am thinking about getting 1" bigger blocks for the rear of my truck, am I correct in understanding that I need a 3" block? I have an '01 4x4 and I believe the stockies are 2". Any help is appreciated

They are 2" you are correct. I was gonna go that route but waited a month after ordering them and then they said they ( 4wheelparts) said they couldn't get them, so I went with an add a leaf. It was a little more complicated install but not bad and it increased my payload and towing ability and it still rides the same. Not sorry I ended up with this set up. Oh, I gained 2".

Yup! But are our block bolts squared? Or rounded? I bought the rounded ones because it's what we have, so it might be a possible oops situation
