Do you have 7 lug wheels? If so, you have 3:31. If 5 lug, nothing comes up for Gen 10's other than that.

He won't have 7 lugs with a 4.2. And the sticky shows it's 4.10. If he looks at his axle tag it should say

27 code, 2000 7700 Ford w/5300# shows 3.73. This is out of my 2000 Ford truck parts/warranty book I just dug out. The 7700 shows a 5300# rear axle, and my book (Ford printed) shows a 3:73. I found another showing a 7000# axle with 4:10, but not in a Gen 10 but a SD. I think the OP needs to read the axle tag and stop the confusion. Not everything in the sticky is 100% correct, but 99% of it is good. lol

Well it is raining now so getting under it is out. It is 5 lug 4.2 v6. 2wd The door sticker says axle 27. The vin# on the door sticker matches the dash and my title. Oh and it is disc front drum rear.
