Default F150 Lightning Swapped vs Lightning

Getting anxious about the lightning supercharger swap on my truck. I've been trying to figure out how it will perform against a lightning. Any chance I could outrun a stock lightning if I just had a pulley swap and tune on mine? Mine is a 2000 SuperCab 4x4. I was concerned about weight but from my research so far it seems as if the lightnings and the f150 supercab 4x4s weigh about the same amount

The Lightning is quite a bit lighter. 2wd vs 4wd, heavier frame on the 4x4, etc. I took mine over the scales and it was almost 5900 with me and a shell only. You may do well against other trucks, but not against a Factory SVT truck. You'd need more than just the SC.

How can a 2wd single cab stepside (ie fiberglass bed panels) be just as heavy as a supercab 4x4 (front diff, t-case. different frame weight) fleetside (ie all steel bed)? I would think the Lightning would be a few hundred pounds lighter. Sure the supercharger adds a little weight (but if both trucks have the same supercharger, it is not an issue)
Your going to also have more drag from the 4x4 system (even in 2wd, you have the cv shafts and gears turning).

All that being said, a boosted 5.4 4x4 supercab with a good tune and underdrive pulleys, as well as at least a 3.73 axle ratio and 31" or smaller tires, could probably beat a stock Lightning (which are getting hard to find) in a 1/4 mile.

I looked up the weight on several sources awhile back, I have an extended cab 4x4 and my brother has an 04 lightning so I was curious, even though it makes zero ****ing sense every source I found put them at similar weights.

That does make any sense at all.

Everything I am finding also says the Lightning is 4,670 lbs and a 5.4 4x4 supercab is 4,760 lbs. I just don't see how there is only 90 lbs difference with a shorter truck with no 4wd components.
What is weird is a 4x2 regular cab Flareside with a 5.4 weighs 4,185 lbs. Why is the Lightning 485 lbs heavier? Is the 4r100 heavier? How much does the supercharger and all it's components weigh? Bigger rims and tires add weight. I know the Lightning had a different front bumper, does it have side skirting too? That could add some weight.

One source I found put the super cab 4x4 at light 60 pounds lighter, I'm about to check my title and see what the weight is lol

Maybe if your using a manual transmission or if you can fit a 6R60/6R80

Your intercooler will not be as efficient as Lightning's Intercooler because it is independent from the engine cooling system. It has it's own electric pump controlled by the pcm. Use a Fiberglass/Carbon Fiber Hood,

It just doesn't make sense that a SuperCab with more cab metal, more frame metal, etc would weigh the same as a regular cab with the short bed. How much does forged internals, the supercharger setup, and the 4R100 add? I doubt it would even add up to the weight of the 4x4 transfer case, front diff, front cv axles, and front driveshaft

Tires and gears play into it, but if you were stock, running exhaust, tuner and a pulley I don't see why you wouldn't outrun a bone stock lightning, I think your biggest problem will be finding a stock lightning! This is also assuming these *** backwards weight ratings are correct lol.
