Rear axel diff cover

Default Rear axel diff cover

mine is starting to show a wet(rot) spot

what should I replace it with? and what LS diff/axel do I have 2001 supercrew

Check your axle code on the sticker in the drivers door jam area. Then we can determine if you have the 9.75 or 8.8 rearend. As for covers, I'd just find a cheap stock one in a wrecking yard since it will fit and seal the best. but if you're going for "bling" or want the extra capacity/cooling capabilities of a spendy aftermarket cover like a Mag-Hytec etc etc. but get ready to spend some $$ on one of those.

it should also say H9 or B6 on that card to tell if its 3.55 or 3.73 gears

Then take a pic of your differential. Also look at the tag on the diffy.
