Yeah.... I am thinking they replied to the wrong thread, LOL. That is pretty easy to do with the mobile version.

My 99, 4.2 did that then got more frequent until the fuel pump went. New fuel pump and hasn't done it sense

Fuel pump is dropping the pressure on the return check valve side. We had a few of those a couple years ago. It gets lot worse on hot days.

This would be my guess.
