Default Radiator replacement

I'm changing the radiator on my 5.4 2000 f150 and can not get the lower transmission line back in....I can't get the threaded part that slides on the line to slide all the way in to the threads!!!!????

How many thread does it go in? Did you cross thread it?

I haven't threaded at all I can't get the part that slides on the line to slide all the way up to the threads

See the smooth part that has to slide up in to it to get the threads started I can't seem to get it to slide in, any suggestions

The new radiator may be thinner causing you to run out of line.

It seems long enough it's almost like I can't get it at the right angle or something. Been a fightin with the pos for the last hour

Call up a bunch of local auto shops and ask for their opinion. If they won't tell you, call up another one or the stealership.

Know it's been a while just letting Yall know, when in doubt, go back to where you bought it and check if it's the right one. Stupid autozone sold me the wrong radiator.
