Default Quick HID Question

I've been planning on going with HIDs for a while, now even more because my light output is starting to diminish. I'm torn between 35w and 55w, 6000k or 8000k. I'll probably go through DDM too.. any suggestions?

I have 35w 8000k xentec off eBay and love them. Fixing to look into getting them for my fogs.

Is there a huge difference between them and halogens? I just don't want the 55w to be too much..

Personally I find the hids alot better. And I really don't think you need the 55w.. I mean they say they are brighter. But my 35w are extremely bright.

That's what I was thinking.. plus I guess the 55w washes out a lot of color so 55w 6000k would look pure white.. the 35w 8000k looks perfect from your picture. Thanks man!

Yeah If you were to get 55w you new to get more like a 10000k together a blue color out if it. That's why I chose the 35w. Idk if you can tell or not one of mine is a little brighter than the other but that's just because I need to get a headlight cleaning kit and clean one lens lol. Do not know how one got dirty but the other Didn't? But no problem man. Glad It could help.

I saw that.. probably doesn't make much of a difference does it though? Other than that it looks like there is more light coming out of it lol

Haha yeah. And the funny thing is the dirty one holds back some of the brightness. And it's accually the dirtier one. Maybe I should find a used dirty one instead of having em both clean? Hahaha
