Default Question on Performance COP's

Hey fellow forum friends... I read through a lot of posts in the search tool, but haven't seen much in the way of reviews on Performance COP's. I seen Accel makes a some that claim to give you 10-15% more spark energy, and JEGS makes one that claims to offer 15-20% more spark energy than stock coil on plug. Both claim they result in more horsepower and better fuel efficiency... note I say they Claim.

So I have noticed when driving my SCrew that when in OD around 40-50mph, i start to feel a miss... well we all know that is more than likely a coil pack going out, though I haven't taken any codes yet. It only does it at this speed. All the COP's look to be original when I changed the plugs about 4-5K miles ago... So I was considering just changing them all. So do I go for the performance COP's or stick with the set of 8 new in the box on eBay for $125?

Thanks Y'all!

Stick with motorcraft, I have never heard anything good about accel or any aftermarket cop's - My opinion.

Go to TroyerPerformance.com and see if they sell the accel cops for your truck. The Accel COPs usually cost less than OEM so it's a better deal IMO and will allow you to have a little more Gap in your plugs so better fire.
