try cleaning your throttle body, or it may just need a tune-up

Definitely...do you notice a difference in power when you drive it in the day as opposed to at night?

Remember to use motorcraft products only!

You must be joking, there are better products at cheaper prices.

Javi is right about using motorcraft parts. Fords are VERY picky about using aftermarket parts, especially the electronic parts. I ALWAYS stick to OEM Motorcraft parts.

Take the advice and use Motorcraft plugs. Other brands can and have caused problems.
Air filter O.K.? Does symptom occur without being under load? I have seen cat converters plug up at less than 100,000 on 5.4.Have you scanned for codes? Fix any hard fault codes before throwing darts at the board.

It seems to do better at night but not like normal!!!!
when i changed the plugs i put ngk in it like 40,000 miles ago, the truck does fine at idle and when ur just cruising down the road but as soon as you give it a little gas it just feels weak!!! from a dead start it doesnt really jump up and go till it gets to 2500 rpms!!
had a ford mechanic tell me its probably my throttle body needing cleaning since when i looked at it today it had alot of black gunk behind it, and he said if that doesnt fix it that it will probably be my coolant temp sensor!!

i do all my own work ive rebuild many engines but what is CEL's??? probably something i already know just not used to the apreviations
