Measure voltage central junction box C43-32(At the back), circuit 705 Light Green/Orange Green and ground. Is there voltage?
Yes, repair circuit 705 and clear DTC
NO, Install New Central Juntion Box

I just took a look under the dash -- I'm thinking I'm going to have to remove some parts to get to the circuit 705.

Is the Central Junction Box the main circuit breaker panel -- and is that the GEM attached to the backside of it?

Thanks for the help w0lvez

Wow, thanks -- so I have some parts removal to do first. I'm not sure I can get to it tomorrow, it might have to wait for a week. But thanks for the help.

Last test,
measure Resistance between battery saver relay connector pin 2 and ground.
Is the Resistance less than 5 ohms?
YES, Install a new central junction box
NO, Install a New GEM

Battery Saver Relay Terminal
1 4 2
----5
----3

Clear DTC and test for normal operation

No Problem..

It's probably corroded causing issue. Check your windshield for any sign of leak. .

Using my multimeter, set to check resistance (ohms), with the leads not touching anything the meter reads 1 -- then, connecting one lead to the #2 of the relay, and the other lead to ground, the meter still reads 1 -- no change

I do see some rust on some of the parts under the dash, like the brake pedal arm. But I've seen no evidence of any windshield leak -- but that rust was there when I bought it as a used vehicle.

Very common issue on Ford. The exact leak point is hard to find.

Read this TSB 99-2-3

w0lvez -- since I'm not that familiar with meters, what do you think of test of the #2 post, where I got no change on the reading of the meter?
