Default Pull cab of pull motor

I’ve got a bad manifold on my 03 5.4 so what would be the most easy way to fix it? I’ve heard a lot guys pulling the cab off but never pulled a cab off but I’ve also read about a lot of guys pulling the motor. But is there any easier way?

Pull the motor for the manifold? Which manifold? Exhaust or intake manifolds can all be done with the motor in the truck.

On my 04 F-250 I jacked it up and took off the front wheel.
And then took out the wheel well.
Did an upgrade too !

Pullings cab is only simple if you have right lift to do so.

Unless you have broken bolts in block, not necesssary. Even then, most can be handled without that.

Not a bad job, no engine or cab removal involved. I doubt the larger shops would lift the cab for a manifold R&R. I second Phil's posts above. It's that easy, until you start breakin shiii...

I'll third it, and say the passenger-side exhaust manifold on my '99 was replaced twice without cab removal. Wheel and fender liner only. And yes, broken studs will add another level of "fun" to the project.

A sharp left handed M42 works best...it's fast.

Its got to be way way easier to just pull the manifold then the entire cab! for a motor swap and trans, if you had a lift or hoist and enough room, totally.
