Default Programmer/inspection

Do I have to put my truck back to stock when its time for my 2 year inspection. I have a Jet Programmer. I live in the NJ and they only inspect emissions. However, I do know that they connect to the OBD-II for whatever reason. Is it illegial to program your vehicle?

No it's not illegal to tune your truck. No it will not affect your inspection.
Sorry to hear that you live in NJ by the way.

And they connect to the OBD2 to get the emissions reading. The computer tells them if the truck is running correct or not, they don't actually use a sniffer anymore.

X2 to TLB4. Sympathy for living in nj as well. Too much hustle and bustle for me. I'm a simple man.
