Default Power locks / windows swap.

Does anyone know if 2002 xl has harness in door for power locks and windows, or am I in for a wiring clinic?

thanks

You are going to have to pull the door panel and check. Some do, some don't. Why, I can't tell you, but there are some that come prepared for add on. Most earlier one were not wired. You are in the later years, so it might be there in your model.

My 99 xl doesn't have the wiring in the doors. Butt The wires are in the kick panels and the fuses and relays are in the under hood fuse box. It isn't that hard to add.

Pulled door panel and speaker to see behind and all I saw were the speaker wires. So when you say shouldn't be that hard to add... if I'm pulling the entire set from a donor truck I would just splice donor harness with my trucks kick panel wiring?

So i went to the yard and took apart the doors to look at the wiring. It looks like i have the connection in the driver side kick panel. Looks like it should just be plug and play, the only real question is how much if any trouble the module will be that goes under the the front stearing column. Anyone have any experience with this? It appears both door wires run to this module from the donor truck and i guess i'll be able to add a keyless fob when its all said and done?

So the door does plug right into my kick panel. The door locks work, the keyless module actually works too, with a spare keyless remote i bought at a junk yard and then reprogrammed to fit using the key turn method. Only thing that's not working are the windows, and i'm thinking its either something my truck doesn't have, or the chord i have a picture of below is the cause as it was not plugged in when i tested it.
