I'm tired of manually folding my mirrors every time I leave or enter my garage, so I'm trying to determine a parts list to convert to power folding mirrors. So far I've found evidence (no proof) that 03-06 Navigator and 05-08 Expedition power folding mirrors fit the doors. I've found nothing relevant on switches or wiring (only for other years or vehicles). I couldn't find anything here. Anyone have confirmed info on this?
Expeditions definitely do not fit. I tried them in the junkyard, the top bolt is off by about an inch and the back of the mount overhangs the window by an inch and a half. The only navigators I saw were trashed unfortunately so I can't give an opinion there.
Actually, not sure if I saw an 05-08 expedition at my pick n pull. I know the earlier models don't though and I checked every expedition they had

I am going to trial fit at the yard, too. They don't have some of the allegedly-relevant years but it's a start.
SuperCrew and Expy/Gator mirrors will swap directly to the body. They do not fit reg cab or SuperCab models though. As far as the power fold, that wasn't avail in our years so you will have to run power to that section of the mirror harness, but could easily be incorporated. As far as switches, if you could find a place to put in the later Gator/Expy switch, it could be done. I could see it in the spot where the power pedals go and can see it being okay with the fit there.

Well I have a SC so it looks like I'm in luck! Am I right on the years?

I'll look into that. I was figuring a separate switch just for the fold but a stock switch would be better.
Does anyone know where I could find the diagram for the switch in post #6? I thought I had it but it has 9 wires and the diagram only had eight, despite having the right p/n (2L7t-17b676-acw).
