Default power door locks

searched around on here and coudn't find anything for my situation. got home from work locked the truck like usual, came out in the morning and all my door locks stopped working all at the same time. key fob or door buttons do nothing. if i hit the door button i hear a quiet click from under the dash. hit it again right after and no sound. checked the fuses and all is good. can someone point me in the right direction, what i could check? its a 2001 supercrew 4x4. any help would be great. thanks

What's the condition of the battery? Have you had any work done on the truck lately?

thanks for the reply, the battery is all good. everything was working fine one day, and nothing the next day. they weren't slowing down, sticking, nothing. that being said, i did have a plug blow two and a half months ago. it was repaired and everything was fine until last thursday morning. when i push the door lock button i hear what sounds like a relay click from under my feet. push it again after a moment or two, and there's no sound. wait a couple minutes and i hear it click again. what the hell?? any ideas?
thanks again

When they repaired your truck, did they disconnect your battery? I know this is going to sound crazy to a lot of people, but disconnect the negative cable. Wait one minute then reconnect. I had a similar problem and it fixed mine. On my truck a 98 the locks were going crazy by them selves. If that does not work you may have bad relays. Keep us posted.

Just curious... do you have a remote starter installed? Not likely the issue but anything is possible with 10 year old trucks.

Mine had the same issue. Both locks didn't work. Check your lock actuators. Both of mine were bad, replaced them and both worked again just fine.

i thought about the actuators, but finding it hard to believe that all four would go at the exact same time. with no signs of anything going bad, they weren't slow, sticking, nothing. any other ideas? is it common for all four to go at the same time?
