Possible Exhaust Setup
I have decided on an exhaust setup.
2 Magnaflow hi-flow cats (94305)
1 Magnaflow X-pipe (10790)
2 14" Magnaflow SI/SO round mufflers (10415)
2.25" Piping
I am planning purchasing all the parts before heading to the shop. Ill have them delete the 4 original cats and installing the hi-flows in their place and essentially running a true dual system to the rear, with the exhaust exiting behind the rear tires. I do have a few questions....will I still be able to have the 02 sensor if I delete the stock cats? What type of piping should I try and get? Do you have any advice or comments on the setup? What price range might I be looking at?
I'll be sure to throw on some vids once its finished.
Thanks.

I would guess you are looking at at the very least 1000$.. Cats are not cheap. The o2 censors are in the rear cats, so you may have issues with them. I would recommend swapping the fronts for the hiflows and just gutting the rears. That way you should be able to solve any o2 censor problems you get, and also won't be getting in trouble with johnnylaw.

OP, you might check your local auto parts stores, i know i can got to autozone, pep boys, or oreillys and get a magnaflow cat for about 80 bucks.... It's not "cheap" but in the big picture, 160 is but a drop in the bucket.lol Another suggestion is bump up the pipe diameter to 2.5 or even 3 and get one of magnaflows DI/DO mufflers, they have an X built in to them, so no need for the X pipe! On the o2 sensor issue, i dont have any back cats, and havent thrown a code, but that could be because im lucky sometimes.lol Any plans for headers?
