Default Possible body mods

hey guys, i am new to the forum, and have spent the last few hours looking at pictures of everyone trucks and reading mod threads, and i have a question.
I am interested in changing a few things on my 97 F150 Extended Cab, Shortbed (with build date 12/95), and i know some things will be harder then others. I want to switch it to the 99-03 grill and bumper with fog lights, some lightning style lights, and an 08 superduty style tailgate. What all will i need to do to make these swaps? any help would be appreciated. Im pretty sure i will need to change the header panel behind the lights, but i dont know if anything else will need to be changed. And i have no idea what will have to change to use the superduty tailgate, if anything. Thanks for any advise yall can give me. I will try to upload some pics of what im working with, so you all can see it. Thanks again.

Pics below: First 2 are the way it is now, after removing factory pinstripes, and impact strips, chrome step tubes, bed rails and toolbox that was all on it when i got it. The third pic is how it was when i traded for it, and the last pic is how i want my front end to look. (minus tag and blue lens fog lights)

Headlights are a direct swap... bumper is a direct swap minus wiring for the fog lights... tailgait is a minor mod swap you need to purchase a left hand pivot hinge from a 08+ f-2/350 (13 bucks from rock auto i believe could be wrong) good luck modding and welcome !

I'm sure the bumper isn't a direct swap. I think you need different brackets.

For the front end you'll need the newer grille support, you'll be able to keep your headlights(I'd go lightning if we're doing the work though), then you'll need the bumper and brackets. On the rear end you can also run 08+ SuperDuty tail lights with a little fitting

They're more clear and the reveres is bigger and on the top.

Oh ok. Thanks for the pic and for explaining I've been wondering about that. Now what about the super duty tailgate swap does it look retarded saying superduty across the back?

I think it looks sick. Theres a few on here, I'm sure they're chip in. Especially with the tails and tailgate together.
