I know one guy that has one...well I think its baddass and want one...actually i want 2. Yall konw where to get a good one? I found some on Ebay but how about mounting it, I do not know but id wanna put them up high. heres a pic of the one guy I know of....

I looked at these as well a few months back. I decided against them just because I could not bring myself to drill a hole in my a-pillar (which you will have to do). If you are okay with the idea, Galls seemed to be the place to go (according to some other off road forums) for this setup. Make sure you order the correct light and mounting kit for your truck.

I did like the idea getting one of those Golight setups with the magnetic base and remote control operation, but they are pricey as well.

I did know i would have to drill into the pillar. how much would that hurt my rigidity in the overall structure in an accident? i dont want to do anything that would make it weaker...

It shouldn't hurt it at all. All the cops run them on their Crown Vics and Expeditions without a problem.

If I were you, I would go to the local cop shop install place and have them install one for you. They do it all of the time and know what they are doing.

i want one too that will go nicely with my lightbar, im taking my truck to a shop nearby that installs all this stuff on the crown vics, tahoes, explorers, impalas, and i have even seen them do a gen 11 f150

ya Im now plannin on a trip to the sheriff's dept and see where i could get it installed at. hopefully its cheap and the dept would "pay" since those guys are on their own payroll with the city
