I have a 1998 F-150 with the 4.6 V8, changed plugs today, (one at a time so's not to screw up the firing order, truck ran great for about a mile then started missing and sputtering, i checked the plug wires, on one wire, (so far) i got 18.6 ohms, on 2 other wires i got close to 8 ohms, i stopped to ask the forum. if i recall the wires should have around 8 ohms as a general rule, i assume that with all of the tugging and twisting to get the wires off could have screwed up the one wire.
i just think its odd that it ran great for just a mile and then started missing.
has anyone ever had this happen?
