It's quite easy to get the door plastic off. 3 areas of focus.

1. The upper piece of plastic that is next to the window going up and down is just clipped on. Remove that; under that has a screw. Remove that screw.

2. The other screw is right by the inside door handle. The plastic trim pops right out. Remove that screw.

The third area is the harness' area for your windows and locks. That piece of trim pops out also. But start with the side closer to the front of the truck because, it pops out and sides in place to be secure. Careful not to break the clip.

Once that it is out disconnect your harness' they can't be confused so don't worry (they won't plug in to the wrong spot)

Once that is all done LIFT the plastic UP and OUT towards you... It will be really dirty. and what helped me was making sure it was locked so the lock mechanism was in the down position.

That's how to get the plastic off. If you want I can be more detailed with pictures after work. But for now that's the best I can on break

No I mean the actual door... I'm trying to take it completely off so I don't damage it when I pull the cab. I appreciate you trying to help me though.

Once you take the plastic panel off, just unplug everything, and pull the wires out of the door toward the cab (rubber grommet and all).
All you need to do then is remove the 4 hinge bolts and 2 spring bolts while somebody lifts the door off.

After you remove the inner panel, take lots of pictures of how the wires are routed, and where everything plugs in to. Made my life a lot easier when it came time to put every thing back together.

That's about a stupid design... You have to unplug everything in the door and pull it out. I would have imagined there's be some kind of bug plug for everything took almost 2 hours for both front doors. Oh well there off now I ended up cutting the wires for the door locks but I left enough wire so I could splice them back together. Like I said its the parts truck imma try to sell some stuff and send what I don't need to the shredder.
