I've been told countless times to go with Motorcraft plugs if you have a stock motor. Part # is SP479.

Link to follow is for an eBay listing of eight Motorcraft plugs for 2V motors.

The E3's suck in Ford motors, just like Champion's do but Mopars love them too. I'm a big fan of NGK's.

E3's cost me a motor now it's either NGK or motorcraft for my 4.6.

I see all this crap about E3 plugs, F all that I wouldn't push them when I worked for an auto parts store, when they came out. There were even spiffs if sold them. The way I look at it, why try and reinvent the wheel? It's been proven old school plugs is where it's at.

NGK's here. For countless of years.

Also I get better spark/performance from V-power than the iradums too.

Yep, Motorcraft (is Autolite the same?). As close to original as I can get for plugs. One time, I tried some of those super duper 55 mpg plugs - right - never again!

i found another seller that is cheaper and selling the same p/n (sp479) and it says that it wont fit my 4.6l engine. its only for 5.4l. but i seen lots of mistakes on ebay. so will this number fit my 4.6L?
