Default Denso Iridium

About 2 months ago I put in an ignition upgrade kit in my 97' 4.6 XLT . It consisted of Deso Iridium 4mm plugs, Accel 8mm spiral wrapped wires and MSD coil packs. I've had no problems what so ever. and i have put about 1500 miles on it since installation. Most everyone here prefers to staty with Autolite [which now makes an Iridium plug] it's what comes in the Ford and a fine plug. Buy the way I bought everything in a kit ao it was cheaper than buying seperate.

We had a 'Stang with the MSD coils on it here in the shop. They did not add ANY hp. They are a waste of money. They do not do any good unless you are running a boosted application.

Default Been gone

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to ya been down on the coast . I picked up the kit from Troyer Performance. Still real happy with it. The MSD coil packs in this kit kick out something like 40,000 volts. The thing is they were'nt but a couple of dollars more than OEM so I bought them in the kit for the warranty

I installed Autolites Iridium last week and I noticed I am getting 2MPG less now. Has anyone experienced that?
