has anyone iver had a cat sound like it is busted or cracked in sid of the cat. i have this weird rattle sound coming from the front cat on the driverside. first i thought it had a hole in it or something but couldnt feel exhaust leeking from it.

 

yea cats can crack open or rust open. it happens. If it wasn't for the leak i'd just say its a heat shield though.

 

there was a hole in it i had a guy weld the hole but he had to cut the shield around it could that be the issue.
