Yup, that's possible. As stated above, I would double check all of your connections. If that doesn't fix anything, the unit should still be under warranty if it's less than a year old. I've got a similar Pioneer unit, and haven't had any issues.

well last night when I got home from school I let my truck run and looked over the wiring I ran to my pa, since the trouble only started a week or 2 ago which is a week or 2 after I hooked it up. an pulled the wire slack from the front to the back an it started working again so it must have something to do with that. ill look it over when I get off work today since I don't have school to see what the problem is.

Hi I saw you mentioned a pioneer DVD player.i,m looking to put one in my 11,f150 screw 5.0. Any info ya can tell me would be great. Is it a head rest DVD or overhead. Where did ya purchase . Did you put it in yourself ?etc ...

It's an in dash DVD. I think mine has an output for headrest or overhead and I have the cheaper version. But with a little custom wiring you can make it play DVDs or movies off iPod while driving.

like he said above its my actual radio and I do believe my radio has the output to plug like a headset radio in. an as far as watching movies while you drive all that takes is a relay hooked up to the Parkin brake an remote wire if I remember correctly. and yes I did hook it all up myself
