Default A-Pillar Guages...

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have any A-pillar guages in your truck and could post up a pic...i and wanting to do this to my truck but want to see what it looks like first. I am interested in a 2 pod mount with a fuel to air ratio guage and something else...any ideas?!? also, i saw on jc whitney that they had a miles per gallon guage (http://www.jcwhitney.com/miles-per-g...wx?filterid=j1) It would be nice to know what in getting in real time. what do you guys think?

Google F150 gauge pillar and you should get some images.. or google Lightning gauges..

I wouldn't bother with a mpg gauge. Why? If your going to spend the money, might as well get a 3 gauge pillar and if you want fuel to air ratio, then get water temp, oil temp or trans temp gauge... get something worth checking.

A vacuum gauge is more helpful. Helps train you on driving more efficiently as the more vacuum you pull, the more fuel you consume. Also can help diagnose some other things. I was looking into a vacuum gauge, and digital tach (I don't have one in my cluster). Not a whole lot else that you really need though that could improve your driving. MPG gauges are okay, but I'd rather hand calculate the numbers off the odometer and how many gallons it takes to fill up.

Ok, so you'd rather know how many miles per gallon your getting through a gauge rather than hand calculating it and getting a more reliable number that way vs having a gauge that monitors something crucial such as your transmission temp, or oil pressure, or water pressure? If you want to know MPGs vs if your ****s going to blow up, go for it.............

If you are adding those gauges then obviously don't need them.. I sure as hell am not afraid of my "**** blowing up" if you need those gauges to know if your truck is going to blow up or not then your truck probably shouldn't be on the road. I'm sorry I've never heard of someone besides a race car driver adding gauges to their truck to keep it from blowing up. you my friend need if that is one of your concerns

I've seen trans temp gauges, and vacuum gauges. Nothing else really helps you or can't be calculated with a cell phone.
