Default Pics of the 98 Flareside

I hadnt really put up too many pics of my 98. Only a couple right after I purchased it, so I figure you guys could appreciate something nice to look at.

Its becoming quite the mean machine .

Not crazy about the flares but I really like the wheel/tire combo.

33x11.5r16 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs. I had actually been looking at the TOYO Open Country AT or MT but opted for the DuraTrac. Winter rated all terrain tire, and I couldnt pass up $160 a tire for a 33. I got a place here in Connecticut to price match and undercut Tirerack.com. Ended up costing me $780 out the door for tires, mounting, balancing, and allignment. Not too shabby imo.

I had them put the tires on an older set of 16" American Racing rims. They were scuffed as hell, so I took an emery cloth to them taking the clearcoat down to the silver paint, then i had my buddy re-apply the clearcoat at his bodyshop. I cant pass up free stuff or cheap stuff.

Only problem i have with my rims is the centercaps. The caps were missing from the rims when I picked them up, so I had to search around on the internet for something that could fill. The american racing centers that I ordered didnt fit, but i came across some junk centers at a junkyard for cheap. You cant tell from the photos, but the paint is a little peely on the caps around the edges. You dont notice it until you look for it specifically, but if you're like me, its one of the first things I notice after I get out of my truck.

I'm going to have to strip the paint...
