Hat are the casting numbers for a pi cylinder head

? Are you asking if PI's are marked ?

Yes I was wondering what the casting numbers were because I found someone with an 02 wrecked in the back an curious if it's a pi motor or not

Both V8's are PI in an 02. No worry's.

5fours went PI in 99.
4sixes went PI in 01.

I have a 00 5.4 non pi I blew a spark plug out the head at 248k an I'm gettin worried plus 800$ I can have the whole truck just gotta figure out how to move it it's across a creek in the back if a pasture

That's not possible..no way in hell lol.

All 2000 F150 5.4L's are PI.

So the my uncle who runs the local ford maintenance shop lied to me when put the heli coil or whatever you wanna call it in? Just sayin he showed me on his little telescope camera they aren't the 8 thread heads

What's 8 thread heads have to do with it have to do with them being PI ? I don't know what your uncle told you but there's some confusion on either yours or his part..that's all. To explain, this will clear it up, -

4 threads are non PI, -4 AND 8 thread heads are PI. Only the 03 + 2V modular motor model year heads are 8 threads. Some 03's ended up with 4 thread heads. That's been pretty much confirmed by ibd and others.

Yes, your uncle, using a borescope counted 4 threads in your PI heads. Since all 5.4L's have PI heads from 1999 +.

That should help...I hope. I don't think anyone lied to you.
