Default Pcv part number

I got a PCV for my 2003 5.4 from my local ford dealer and I looked on Amazon and it says it's not the right part. It says EV-248 on the box. Right one?

Rock auto lists EV238. But, part numbers change and get superseded all the time when vendors change, etc. I would be surprised if a dealer gave you the wrong part..

the EV238 rock auto sells comes with gasket. One without gasket may have a different number as well. However I cant find that these are cross referenced.

Looks like the EV248 is listed for the 6L V10 engine.

Mine did not have a gasket. I had to order one afterward because they thought it came with one.

Both are 5four valves, - I'd want the correct one tho. The 48 most likley has a wider margin since it list for the Navs. Guessing, it may have more flow capability.
