Can I put a steering column and computer from a non pats f150 (97-98) into my 2002 f150 supercrew? Just so I don't have to deal with these stupid transponder keys and them not letting me start the truck because the theft light keeps blinking, even though im using the correct transponder keys.....

 

my theft like blinks but works just fine? did you try resetting your computer? see if that helps

 

Mine rapidly blinks when I turn the key and it won't let me start the truck. Ive replaced the pcm relay already. Im running outta options and hair!

 

ide probly try what you want to try, or if you cant do anything, go to the ford dealership and reprogram, idk cost since I haven't had to do that. there might be a way to program keys in the owners Manuel.
