Passenger side door issues
I own a 1998 F-150 XLT and I'm having an issue with the passenger side door. The door lock will unlock the driver side door but not the passenger door and the window will not roll down. The driver side controls will unlock the passenger door and will not work the passenger window either.
I changed out all the switches this afternoon and they did not work either. My thinking is the window regulator/motor is bad on the passenger side along with the door locking motor/mechanism.
For the experts out there, am I on the right track or do I need to look at something else.
Thanks in advance,
Ray

Door lock actuators are common failures.
Its the thermal overloads in the motor
You can fix, but easier to buy another
I fixed one, crack case open take motor apart, short thermal overload with tinfoil, put together, wrap with electrical tape to hold together.
Lot of hassle to save $30 with jury rigged repair
Shop around, can be had for $28, not $75 if you look around
Try partsgeek
But if driver side switch works it, may or may not be problem.
A diff voltage could make a diffetence though, so it is possible its the problem
