Parts question
I am shopping around for parts for a 2000 f150 7700 4x4. The parts needed are:
Upper and lower ball joints
RF wheel bearing
Both outer tie rods
Rear pads and rotors
I know a 7700 package is a light duty f250 and when talking to auto parts stores many of not heard of it.
My question is do any of the above parts differ from a standard 2000 f150 4x4?
Would I have to order f250 parts at all?
Upper and lower ball joints
RF wheel bearing
Both outer tie rods
Rear pads and rotors

I'm sure that I completely understand your question, but generally you want to order the parts specifically made for your truck. Just go to rockauto and enter in exactly what your truck is and get the parts made especially for it.

It's a f150 7700 not a f250. In 97-98 ford called it a 250. But it's a f150. Hence why when you call a parts store and tell them 99 f150 5.4 4x4 and I need a hub.... They should ask you is it 5 or 7 lug..... Only parts different are suspension related and they are 7 lug. Suspension related as in Heavy duty leaf springs and torsion bars. If I'm missing something someone please correct me. But I'm pretty sure that's basically all that's different with them. So to answer your question yes the parts should go right on your truck. To make you feel more comfortable with buying them ask your parts store to look up a hub and see does it give you the choice in 5 or 7 lug... Also see about asking for torsion bars and see if they offer a heavy duty and light duty... Never asked about torsion bars so unsure if they offer that.
