parking break light

98 f150 5.4 4x4
So this light has stayed on for a while now and I have no idea what the problem is

Make sure your parking brake pedal is fully released... Check and make sure your brake fluid level is correct.... If those don't correct it I would look at the parking brake switch....

Try pulling up on the parking brake pedal while holding the release, I had that issue on my Ranger.
